New student INFORMATION

Welcome! I’m so excited to work with you. Please review this information ahead of our first lesson.

TRIAL LESSON

SET-UP

Please have the computer or device situated (computer is preferred for voice lessons to appropriately configure zoom settings) in a way where I can see the student from the waist up, and in an area where the student can have a little space around to move if needed. If the student is studying songwriting, please be seated near or at a desk and have access to a musical instrument nearby.

  • For Voice Lessons only: Have a second device for the lesson (we'll use this to play backing tracks for songs we are working on). Please provide a contact number for the second device (So I can text backing tracks to the student in the lesson). If we work together consistently I will keep a google doc that I will share with you that contains backing tracks for songs we are working on (for easy access).

    • A chair accessible in case the student prefers to sit.

  • For Piano Lessons only: Please have the iPad or computer set-up so it is to one side of the piano, and I’m viewing a profile view of the student. I’ll need to be able to see the student as well as the piano keys.
